Dedicated to the memory of May
May was born in Liverpool on 18th July 1942 and moved to Broad Chalke with her late husband Bill and daughter Andrea in January 1987. She started her career in the early 60s at Newsham Hospital and was a registered nurse at Newbridge and Salisbury District Hospitals until her retirement in 2007.
She immersed herself into village life and was involved in many groups and activities including WI, WDYB, Happy Circle, Flower Shows and fundraising events. She also enjoyed travelling, spending time with her grandsons Jack and William, and later life with partner Ron.
May passed away peacefully on 4th April 2024. Her family would like to thank all at Salisbury District Hospital involved in her care, and everyone who knew her for their friendship and support over the years, and for the kind messages and condolences received. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
